Patching It Up And A Cry For Help!

It sure is nice to see all these ugly scars in our beautiful fairways disappear as our maintenance staff continues our fairway repair program.  I realize the small orange stakes "carrots" scattered throughout the property can be an inconvenience but they do work.   They give us the ability to control cart traffic and divert it away from repaired areas.  More importantly, they protect our fairways from mechanical damage caused by excessive cart and maintenance traffic.  As you approach the orange stakes, please allow yourself enough room to make a gradual turn to avoid any ripping from the cart tires.  Similar to our greens, we are working hard to develop strong roots in our fairways to withstand cart traffic and turning.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.  I look forward to closing out the season strong. The best golf is still ahead of us.  See you on the course! Chris
